Throughout Arsenal’s pre-season tour of Asia, the club with be wearing altered kits. Instead of the usual “Fly Emirates” text across the front of their jerseys, it will now feature the sponsors in Chinese (Mandarin) – as evidenced during today’s match versus Manchester City held at the Beijing National Stadium.
It presents a smart yet simple marketing opportunity for the clubs – one that Manchester City did not take advantage of.
