MLS Season Average Attendance Increases in Week 17; Up 0.2% to 17,473

MLS week 17 average attendance is 17,844. The regular season average has increased 0.03% to 17,473 from 17,441 last week. Stadiums were 85.8% filled throughout the week, increasing to 81.1% of capacity for the season. Three matches were sold out this week – Houston Dynamo versus Toronto FC at BBVA Compass Stadium, Philadelphia Union versus New York Red Bulls at PPL Park, and Portland Timbers versus Colorado Rapids at JELD-WEN Field.
