MLS Season Average Attendance Increases in Week 19; Up 1.34% to 17,937

MLS week 19 average attendance is 20,286. The regular season average has increased 1.34% to 17,937 from 17,699 last week. Stadiums were 90.99% filled throughout the week, increasing to 82.4% of capacity for the season. Six matches were sold out this week – Sporting Kansas City versus Vancouver Whitecaps at Sporting Park, Real Salt Lake versus Philadelphia Union at Rio Tinto Stadium, Seattle Sounders versus D.C. United at CenturyLink Field, FC Dallas versus Chivas USA at FC Dallas Stadium, Colorado Rapids versus New York Red Bulls at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, and Vancouver Whitecaps versus Seattle Sounders at BC Place.
