MLS Season Average Attendance Remains Steady in Week 23; Up 0.22% to 18,110

MLS week 23 average attendance is 18,986. The regular season average has increased 0.22% to 18,110 from 18,071 last week. Stadiums were 90.7% filled throughout the week, increasing to 83.5% of capacity for the season. Four matches were sold out this week – Sporting Kansas City versus New York Red Bulls at Sporting Park, San Jose Earthquakes versus Chivas USA at Buck Shaw Stadium, Seattle Sounders versus FC Dallas at CenturyLink Field, Portland Timbers versus Vancouver Whitecaps at JELD-WEN Field.
