MLS Attendance Continues Modest Growth in Week 27; Up 0.3% to 18,281

MLS week 27 average attendance is 19,792. The regular season average has increased 0.30% to 18,281 from 18,226 last week. Stadiums were 93.2% filled throughout the week, increasing to 84.4% of capacity for the season. Four matches were sold out this week – Real Salt Lake versus Portland Timbers at Rio Tinto Stadium, Columbus Crew versus Seattle Sounders at Columbus Crew Stadium, Sporting Kansas City versus Colorado Rapids at Sporting Park, and Los Angeles Galaxy versus San Jose Earthquakes at the StubHub Center.
