MLS Week 3 Attendance Drops Slightly For Second Consecutive Week

MLS week 3 average attendance was 18,575. As a result, the regular season average attendance has decreased by -2.81% to 19,582 from 20,148 last week. Stadiums were 87.9% filled throughout the week, remaining at 87.24% of capacity for the season.

Three matches were sold out this week: Real Salt Lake versus Los Angeles Galaxy at Rio Tinto Stadium, Sporting Kansas City versus San Jose Earthquakes at Sporting Park, and Montreal Impact versus Seattle Sounders at Stade Saputo.
