MLS Week 7 Average Attendance Dips Below 16,000 for First Time in 2014

MLS week 7 average attendance was 15,826. The regular season average decreased as a result by 2.32% to 18,053 from 18,481 last week. Stadiums were 78.9% filled throughout the week, remaining at 83.5% of capacity for the season.

Three matches were sold out this week – Vancouver Whitecaps versus Los Angeles Galaxy at BC Place, Sporting Kansas City versus Montreal Impact at Sporting Park, and Real Salt Lake versus Portland Timbers at Rio Tinto Stadium.
