MLS Average Attendance Drops to 18,411 after Week 12

MLS week 12 average attendance is 17,661. The regular season average has decreased 0.3% to 18,411 from 18,477 last week. Stadiums were 88.7% filled throughout the week, remaining at 85.3% of capacity for the season.

Four matches were sold out this week – Sporting Kansas City versus Toronto FC at Sporting Park, Vancouver Whitecaps versus Seattle Sounders at CenturyLink Field, Real Salt Lake versus FC Dallas at Rio Tinto Stadium, and San Jose Earthquakes versus Houston Dynamo at Buck Shaw Stadium.
