Week 14 MLS Average Attendance hits 21,312 after D.C. United-Spain Double Header

MLS week 14 average attendance is 21,312. The regular season average has increased 1.32% to 18,617 from 18,374 last week. Attendance received a boost after D.C. United hosted the Columbus Crew following Spain’s warm-up match against El Salvador to a crowd of 53,267 at FedEx Field. Stadiums were 82.7% filled throughout the week, remaining at 84.5% of capacity for the season.

Three matches were sold out this week – Philadelphia Union versus Vancouver Whitecaps at PPL Park, Real Salt Lake versus Portland Timbers at Rio Tinto Stadium, and New England Revolution versus New York Red Bulls at Gillette Stadium.
