The average attendance for the Round of 16 of the 2014 World Cup was 57,132, the highest among any stage of the World Cup thus far.  For a more significant evaluation of attendance, stadiums were filled to 98.83% capacity on average for all Round of 16 matches.

There was only one sell out reported in the Round of 16 – Argentina versus Switzerland at Arena de Sao Paulo (63,255 attended).
