Week 25 Fills MLS Stadiums 91% on Average, Last SuperClasico Nearly Sells-Out

MLS week 25 average attendance is 20,035. The regular season average has increased 0.24% to 18,999 from 18,954 last week. Stadiums were 91.2% filled throughout the week, remaining at 8536% of capacity for the season.

Four matches were sold out this week – Sporting Kansas City versus Houston Dynamo at Sporting Park, Seattle Sounders versus Colorado Rapids at CenturyLink Field, San Jose Earthquakes versus Real Salt Lake at Buck Shaw Stadium, and Vancouver Whitecaps versus Portland Timbers at BC Place.  The last SuperClasico between Chivas USA and the Los Angeles Galaxy had 18,652 fans fill the stadium, 11,000 more than the average attendance for Chivas USA matches.
