2014 Average Attendance Rises to 18,875 After Week 28

MLS week 28 average attendance is 20,535. The regular season average has increased 0.3% to 18,875 from 18,818 last week. Stadiums were 93.19% filled throughout the week, remaining at 84.96% of capacity for the season.

Three matches were sold out this week – Real Salt Lake versus Colorado Rapids at Rio Tinto Stadium, Portland Timbers versus Vancouver Whitecaps at Providence Park, and Columbus Crew versus New England Revolution at Crew Stadium.
