UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body, the section that handles UEFA’s investigation and application of their Financial Fairplay regulations announced that its investigatory chamber has completed the first round of hearings for break-even submissions for clubs submitted by June 2014. They stated that they will continue investigations into 7 clubs while requesting more information from an additional 6 clubs.

The Singapore government’s first ever application of its Criminal Law Act towards soccer match fixing, with the help of Europol, saw four men detained without trial and consequently break up a global match-fixing syndicate that is believed to have run from 2009-2013.
