MLS 2015 Season Average Attendance is 21,573, Smashing 2014 Record of 19,148

MLS week 34 average attendance is 24,517. The regular season average has increased 0.42% to 21,573 from 21,483 last week. This is the first time in league history that the average attendance for the season is above 20,000, and is a +12.66% increase vs. 2014 total season attendance figures. Stadiums were 104.57% filled throughout the week, remaining at 94.31% of capacity for the season.

Six matches sold out this week- Montreal Impact versus Toronto FC at Stade Saputo, New York City FC versus New England Revolution at Yankee Stadium, Portland Timbers versus Colorado Rapids at Providence Park, Seattle Sounders versus Real Salt Lake at CenturyLink Field, Sporting Kansas City versus LA Galaxy at Sporting Park, and Vancouver Whitecaps versus Houston Dynamo at BC Place.
