MLS week 3 average attendance is 23,725, compared to 21,745 last week. The regular season average has increased 2.08% to 22,369 from 22,835 last week. Stadiums were 90.68% filled throughout the week, remaining at 92.80% of capacity for the season.

Five matches were sold out this week— Orlando City SC versus Philadelphia Union at Orlando City Stadium, Sporting Kansas City versus San Jose Earthquakes at Children’s Mercy Park, Real Salt Lake versus LA Galaxy at Rio Tinto Stadium, Portland Timbers versus Houston Dynamo at Providence Park, and Seattle Sounders versus New York Red Bulls at CenturyLink Field.
