MLS Average Attendance Increases to 20,282 in Week 5

MLS week 5 average attendance is 20,282 compared to 14,830 last week. The regular season average has decreased 0.50% to 20,600 from 20,703 last week. Stadiums were 83.74% filled throughout the week, finishing at 86.30% of capacity for the season.

Four matches were sold out this week— LA Galaxy versus Los Angeles FC at StubHub Center, San Jose Earthquakes versus New York City FC at Avaya Stadium, Sporting Kansas City versus D.C. United at Children’s Mercy Park, and Seattle Sounders versus Montreal Impact at CenturyLink Field.
