MLS Average Attendance Slightly Rises to 20,362 for the 2018 Season

MLS week 8 average attendance is 20,903 compared to 19,275 last week. The regular season average has increased 0.45% to 20,362 from 20,270 last week. Stadiums were 87.44% filled throughout the week, staying at 84.76% of capacity for the season.

Four matches were sold out this week—Sporting Kansas City versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Children’s Mercy Park, Orlando City SC versus San Jose Earthquakes at Orlando City Stadium, Seattle Sounders versus Minnesota United FC at CenturyLink Field, and Portland Timbers versus New York City FC at Providence Park.
