MLS Posts 3rd Highest Average Attendance of 2018 in Penultimate Week of Regular Season

MLS week 34 average attendance is 25,575 compared to 24,127 last week. The regular season average has increased 0.73% to 21,748 from 21,592 last week. Stadiums were 108.99% filled throughout the week, staying at 90.53% of capacity for the season.

Five matches were sold out this week— Atlanta United FC versus Chicago Fire at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, D.C United versus New York City FC at Audi Field, Los Angeles FC versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Banc of California Stadium, Minnesota United FC versus LA Galaxy at TCF Bank Stadium, and Portland Timbers versus Real Salt Lake at Providence Park.
