2019 MLS Season Average Attendance Bolstered by 70,000 Atlanta United Fans

MLS week 2 average attendance is 23,762 compared to 21,132 last week. The regular season average has increased 5.95% to 22,390 from 21,132 last week. Stadiums were 89.17% filled throughout the week, staying at 90.80% of capacity for the season.

Three matches were sold out this week— Sporting Kansas City versus the Philadelphia Union at Children’s Mercy Park, Atlanta United FC versus FC Cincinnati at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Los Angeles FC versus Portland Timbers at Banc of California Stadium.
